Another heart warming feelgood factor film - I could watch this sort of thing dozens of times in a row!
Based on a true story, Will Smith gives a really brilliant performace of a man struggling to come to terms with everything life throws at him.

You will enjoy it, Sam!
I missed it at the cinema but would love to see it so will pick up the DVD perhaps watch over Christmas.
It's got my recommendation, Wendy!
I will definately take a look at that film, I had forgotten about it until today - have you seen Elizabath The Golden Years? We went to see it last week brillaint if you like anything to do with the Tudors and I do, so well done but not everybodys cup of tea.
Good to see that you are still very selective regarding your film watching.
Hi Skip, some would call my tastes 'narrow'! I have a real penchant for French and Italian films.
I watched this film about two months ago - we got it from the Tesco DVD club. As a father of two, I was totally humbled by it. It was an incredible film, and I'd recommend it to anyone. In fact, I was so emotionally stirred by it that I even set my facebook status to something along the lines of "Jonny Hightower is in awe of the film 'The Pursuit of Happyness'" ;-) (I have to say that being the father of two is a bit like the pursuit of nappyness (should that really be nappIness?))
Hi JH, as one of my senior family members would classify it, a "weepie"!

I was thinking of this film the other day although I have not seen it yet!

Funny how Americans have differents way of spelling things! I prefer 'Happyness' with an 'i'. It makes more sense to me!
